Song: “Silly Dance Contest” (Jim Gill, Jim Gill Sings the Sneezing Song and Other Contagious Tunes)

Book: Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems

Song: “Ooh La! Ooh La!” (They Might Be Giants, Here Come the 123s)

Song: “The Mack Chicken Dance” (Greg & Steve, Big Fun)

Book: Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak

Song: “Mahna Mahna” (Cake, For the Kids)

Activity: Make Your Own Book

I just pulled together materials from our craft supplies for this activity – card stock for book covers, scrap paper for pages, and yarn to bind the books together. The kids put the books together themselves, and then I had markers set out for them to write, draw, and color inside the books.
