Activity: Act out The Umbrella using face masks from Jan Brett’s website

Song: “The Umbrella Man” (Dizzy Gillespie, Nicky’s Jazz for Kids)

Book: Clap Your Hands by Lorinda Bryan Cauley

Song: “Hands Are for Clapping” (Jim Gill, Jim Gill Sings the Sneezing Song and Other Contagious Tunes)

 

Activity: Masks

I made face masks using a template for our Ellison Die Cut machine. Then I put out glue, feathers, and tissue paper for the kids to decorate their masks.
