Book: Alphabet Soup by Kate Banks

Song: “I Feel Crazy So I Jump in the Soup” (Laurie Berkner, Victor Vito)

Book: Martha Speaks by Susan Meddaugh

Song: “Alphabet Rock” (Riff Rockit, Riff Rockit)

Activity: Alphabet Soup craft 

This was a simple craft – Alpha Bits cereal glued to a soup bowl coloring page, but it allows for discussion and creativity.We had time to talk about the letters and sometimes older children like to try spelling words with specific letters.
