Book: A Ball for Daisy by Chris Raschka

Song: “My Dog” (Charlie Hope, Songs, Stories, and Friends)

Activity: Daisy picture 

I provided the kids with a picture of “Daisy” from A Ball from Daisy, die-cut circles in various colors, and a sheet of white paper each. They could choose the color of circle for Daisy’s ball and draw a picture around her. I encouraged them to think about where Daisy was – her house, the park, somewhere else.
